Picture of Station Security VR Simulation being deployed

An operational trial of a new Station Security VR Simulation Serious Game with Bristol Temple Meads (BTM) station staff, complimenting and enhancing established security training activities. Deployed on low-cost tablet devices and set in a realistic and detailed virtual environment on stations and trains, railway station staff undertake real world simulated tasks and are challenged to recognise, assess and appropriately react to a range of realistic security threats. The primary impact will be raising the awareness, competence and confidence of railway station staff who work day-to-day in stations, increasing their security effectiveness and enhancing safety for themselves and customers.
