Picture of Journey Alerts

Journey Alerts is a new service being trialled between Reading and Bristol Temple Meads by Network Rail, Great Western Railway and Connected Places Catapult.

We know that travelling by rail can sometimes be complicated and a little overwhelming, and that’s why we have invented Journey Alerts.

The service is designed to extend the advice you receive from the lovely staff when you travel, sending you messages every time something affects your journey, or when you need more information. It can even share your progress with a friend or loved one who is not travelling with you.
